Your vehicle uses a keyless ignition system. This system consists of a Key Fob with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and a Keyless Ignition Node (KIN). The interior lights will turn on when you press the UNLOCK button on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter or open a door or the liftgate. This feature also turns on the approach lighting (if equipped). Refer to “Uconnect Touch™ Settings” in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” for further information. The interior lights will fade to off after approximately 30 seconds or they will immediately fade to off once the ignition switch is cycled to ON/RUN.
